Shipping & Delivery

VelociTrak ships products and merchandise to locations within the Canada and mainland USA. Additionally, VelociTrak ships selective merchandise to other international locations including Europe & Latin America. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.

International Customs & Duties

Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.

Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. VelociTrak is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.

Canadian GST/HST

VelociTrak charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable Provincial, State or Federal sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped.

Warranties

Warranty Information

VelociTrak offers a one year standard manufacturer warranty on all products sold on our website.

All goods dispatched from VelociTrak are checked for quality, including checks of the appearance of the goods, the function of the hardware and software, the packaging, and inclusion of applicable accessories and power adapters. We sometimes test the items against a local WIFI connection to ensure that the internet connectivity is working as it should

VelociTrak aims to communicate openly, promptly, and carefully with all customers in relation to issues with received goods.

Repairs

VelociTrak can only offer compensation for faulty products that are directly attributed to manufacturing defects. For issues related to user created defects including breaking of the screens, dropping of the products or breakages you can contact us to send it back for repairs. We will charge you for the shipping and repair costs.

The VelociTrak warranty means we will repair your faulty (manufacturer defect) item for free and send it back to you. Other compensation is not normally available. If an item is impossible to repair we will credit you for the price of the product instead or provide an alternate option including an exchange.

Warranty Period

The warranty period is for 12 months or 365 days from the time the customer receives the item.

Warranty Payments

VelociTrak will try and trouble shoot the products remotely. If we are not able to trouble shoot remotely the product(s) should be shipped to our facility in US. The customer shall pay for the shipping charges. Our QC engineers will test products you ship back and, if they confirm the products are indeed faulty, we will offer compensation (repair, credit or refund). However, for products that are tested and turn out to be in good working condition, VelociTrak will not accept any responsibility and may charge a restocking value at our own discretion. Functional products will not be reimbursed.

Cost of shipping repaired item back to customer will be paid by VelociTrak in full.

If a product cannot be repaired: your original shipping fee will be credited in addition to the original product value so you can place a new order for a brand new replacement or a different product.

Warranty Disqualification

Below are instances where a customer will not be eligible for returns and/or compensation:

  • Unapproved returns or returned products not processed through VelociTrak’s RMA procedure;

  • Products whose 12-Month warranty period has expired;

  • Received returned products that are damaged because of inadequate or unsecure packaging;

  • Approved product returns through VelociTrak RMA procedure that are confirmed by our QC engineers to be functioning after testing;

  • Broken products caused by misuse or mishandling;

  • Returns of your unwanted, unsold yet functional products;

  • Missing accessories such as power adapters etc.

  • Products bought by mistake

The user voids the warranty if s/he flashes the firmware of a device, opens the body in an attempt to fix, or otherwise uses the device in a way that is not considered normal usage.

The warranty does not extend to free repair / replacement in cases to damage to products, accidental breakage, misuse, or wear and tear.

The customer is solely responsible for choosing the right product, including for example

The "right " feature or product

Color

Screen size

Memory

CPU

We will send you exactly what you have ordered, so please read descriptions before purchasing.

If the customer of a delivery refuses or fails to accept delivery once the item has been shipped out, VelociTrak accepts no liability and the customer will not be eligible for compensation.

Return Policy

Our return instructions are as follows:

Returning for replacement and refund
  1. Quality Issues: If a product has quality problems within 30 days of customers receiving it, VelociTrak will be responsible for exchanging your item or returning a full refund. After confirming that the product has not been damaged on purpose, we will send a refund or exchange the product. Quality problems caused by manufacturing include such things as motherboard damage, screen damage, accessories damage, malfunctioning buttons.

  2. Non Quality Issues: If customers wish to return an item for non quality reasons within 14 days after receiving the product, we will return 80% the full price. A 20% restocking fee would apply.

  3. Returned Products: Returned products should be in original condition with original packaging. If an accessory or the original item was lost during the process of returning, we will deduct the price of the lost item from the refund.

Cancellations
  1. Canceling Orders (Before delivery): If an order is canceled before delivery, no fee will be charged.

  2. Canceling Orders (After Shipping): To return the product, you may ship by a standard carrier at your expense, to the address provided to you.

As soon as we receive the shipment, in the original unopened packaging, we will refund the amount to you. For credit card purchases, it will take a few days to show up in your account.

If the product/box is opened, a restocking charge/fee would apply.

Limitations of Liability

VELOCITRAK'S LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO DAMAGES NOT TO EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT PURCHASED FROM VELOCITRAK BY BUYER. VELOCITRAK HEREBY DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. THIS EXCLUSION AND LIMITATION APPLIES TO ALL LEGAL THEORIES UNDER WHICH DAMAGES MAY BE SOUGHT. IN NO EVENT WILL VELOCITRAK BE LIABLE TO BUYER FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS OR INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF BUYER’S USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, OR THE BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY OR TERM HEREIN. THE BUYER APPROVES THAT ALL RELATED VELOCITRAK PRODUCTS WERE FULLY AND THOROUGHLY TESTED BY HIM AND WERE FOUND SUFFICIENT AND ACCEPETABLE BY THE BUYER. VELOCITRAK SHALL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROBLEM RELATED TO THE PRODUCT THAT EXISTED PRIOR TO THE DATE OF ORDER.
